Comments  

This image is a mosaic of the central and eastern Veil nebula region. It compliments the western region mosaic of NGC 6992 that I took some time ago. This large supernova remnent contains several objects.

The bright star to lower right is 52 Cygnus and the nebula surrounding it is NGC 6960, also knowns as the Witches Broom. The Nebula to the upper left are NGC 6974 and NGC 6979. Pickering's Triangle sits at the top centre and is also catalogued as Simeis 3-188.

The total exposure time was 22.5.
