Due to very short hours of darkness this time of year this image was constructed from data collected over two nights. As the subject is quite low from the UK, I travelled to a dark site not far from my home to get the colour images. The Ha images are good at cutting through the light pollution so I was able to take these from home. Astroart and Adobe photoshop were used to construct the colour image. After calibrating with bias removal and flat fields, the individual frames were processed using median, high pass and DDP filters. The Ha, red, green, and blue images were then stacked, and the colour images resized and aligned with the Ha. The RGB were then combined and the colour and Ha images exported as bitmaps.
