| This 4 frame mosaic
of the Horsehead (B33), Flame nebula and IC434 was almost lost. I started
the image in November and due to very few clear moonless nights I almost
ran out of time to take the colour data. The final frames were contaminated
to some degree by light pollution which was very difficult to correct. The
image is not quite as good as I had hoped but I think a reasonable effort.
All data was taken from my back garden. Total exposure time was 12 hours
with 6 hours of Ha for luminance. |
