| The frames were stacked
and processed in Astroart. There is a degree of light polution on the southern
horizon at my location that makes it difficult to get a good shot. A Lumicon deep sky filter was placed between the lense and the camera in an adaptor that I produced from an old Pentax screw thread teleconverter. The addition of a minus violet filter and / or an infra red blocking filter may have helped to cut down the flaring around the bright stars. I will give this a try at a later date. |
